March Favorites

Hello sweeties!

It’s that time again!
Here are some of my favorites for the month of March:

I am absolutely enamored with the Model Mirror by Les Tai Tai.
I recently purchased mine in “Lush Leopard” since I have an affinity for leopard print.

Each Model Mirror comes in a velvet pouch, and are available in numerous colors/designs.
What sets the Model Mirror apart from any other mirror is that it has LED lighting, and a normal and magnifying mirror.
Notice how I said LED lighting and not light? That’s because there are eight total little LED lights that shine through. It reminds me of lighting you would find on a backstage makeup vanity!
This hot little mirror is a life saver at night, and the size is great for seeing your whole face (not just a tiny sliver) when touching up your makeup.

Peek-a-boo!
I love it so much that I actually use this to apply my makeup in the morning.
It came in so handy on my recent Miami trip because it’s excellent for night time and night clubs!
Everyone who has checked out my mirror (even the guys), have all agreed that it’s pretty awesome.
I can’t imagine a day without it!

You can buy yours for $25/£19 at LesTaiTai.com or by clicking here

My next favorites of the month are by Laura Mercier.

The Silk Crème Foundation in Medium Ivory may very well be one of my favorites thus far; it’s giving my all-time favorite Makeup Forever Matte Velvet +, a run for its money.
Laura Mercier’s Silk Crème Foundation provides full coverage, and what I love is that a little bit goes a long way.
As I have mentioned before, I have acne prone skin, and this foundation does not cause any breakouts what so ever.
Another thing that I love about this foundation is that it is a cream. I don’t really like liquid foundations because I find most to be runny, and I feel like they just fall off my skin.
This foundation does not do that, hence why I love it!

The next Laura Mercier product I am loving is Secret Finish- Mattifying

It has the texture of a silicone type primer (comparable to Smashbox Photo Finish’s texture).
It’s meant to be used throughout the day over makeup. I like this because I tend to get oily throughout the day and this just cuts the greasy look!
I really like this as a primer, used under my makeup.
If you tend to have an oily T-Zone like myself, then I urge you to go to your local Laura Mercier counter and try a sample.
I have found that pairing Secret Finish with the Silk Crème Foundation gives me the best results.
Neither have clogged my pores or irritated my skin, which makes me very happy.

Full coverage- check; flawless finish- check; no breakouts- check!!

Last but not least, I want to share my gem of the month: MAC’s Lipglass in Force of Love from the Chenman Love and Water collection.
I stumbled across this wonderful color at the airport. I had some time to kill, so I thought I’d have a looksee at what exciting things MAC had to offer.
I had been at my local MAC counter, but they were sold out of all the Chenman colors, so I never even got a chance to see them…I had no idea what I was in store for when I finally got to see the collection!
They also had the Force of Love lipstick, but I found it to be very similar to the Nicki Minaj lipstick. That and I tend to favor lip glosses.
This color was PERFECT for Miami/ warm weather season! It just screams fuego. There’s just something so sexy and spicy about it.

Again, I am guilty of using the camera on my phone to take pictures.  My darn camera battery is always dead!
Unfortunately, I can't blame my camera for my pinkish eyes.  This last picture (above) was taken right after a sneezing fit.
I really hope to feel better soon because it's been so nice out!

So there it is, my favorites of the month.

If you have used any of these products, and have any further suggestions or comments, please feel free to share.
